Photo One: The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-USA) and the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR-Canada) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on June 18, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois-USA. Effective July 1, 2018, this agreement allows SHRM and CPHR to establish a Certification Pathway from July 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.

Photo Three:  In New Orleans, SHRM hosted a meeting of NAHRMA delegates from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. At the meeting, Johnny C. Taylor, Jr. of the U.S. completed his term as NAHRMA president for the 2020-22 period with the board electing Terrence (TJ) Schmaltz of Canada to serve as the president and Mauricio Reynoso of Mexico to serve as secretary/treasurer.

Photo Five:  On May 2, Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., participated in the opening keynote session of the 60th annual HR Conference & Expo 2023, hosted by CPHR BC & Yukon (CPHR) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The session focused on the global state of HR and covered the emergence of artificial intelligence, different workweeks around the world, workplace flexibility and much more. CPHR is the largest HR association in Canada. Taylor participated in the opening keynote session with Panama’s Lisellotte Ortega, the president of Interamerican Federation of People Management Associations (FIDAGH), the continental HR association representing Central and South America. The session was moderated by Anthony Ariganello, president and CEO of CPHR and the current president of the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA).
